Special Dietary Needs

Schools participating in a federal school meal program (National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, Special Milk Program, and Afterschool Snack Program) are required to make reasonable accommodations for children who are unable to eat the school meals because of a disability that restricts the diet.

Early Learning Connections, a private, non-profit corporation and academic school has been providing a variety of children’s programs since 1973.  Early Learning Connections is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors composed of parents and community leaders. Early Learning Connections is the grantee agency for the Butler and Armstrong County Head Start/Early Head Start Programs, Pre-K Counts, Infant Toddler Contract Slots Program and the Child Care Information Services Agency of Butler County.
